Final Week
Throughout this project I feel like I was able to accomplish all the goals I set in the first week. Each day of my senior project I gained more responsibilities as well as became more capable in terms of the programs I used and just knowing my way around. I don’t think my goals ever changed but rather than focusing on what I was able to learn I spent a lot more time taking in all the amazing things that were happening around me and the work others were putting in.
If I’m being completely honest, I wouldn’t recommend this project. First because it is no longer an option as max vaccine sites are closing June 19th. I also had to spend a lot of time in meetings and on my computer which after a year like this wasn’t an ideal situation. Still, I was able to learn a lot and I appreciate that. I do however believe these “passion projects” should be incorporated especially since experiential learning is emphasized here at Catlin and while I originally thought this would be a passion of mine and didn’t end up being because so much involved computers, I think it’s important for students to have to opportunity to peruse these passions and be given time to do so.
