Week Three

 5/31 - 6/6

As we reach the end of these mass vaccination sites, while it's great that we no longer need them, it also means that there are fewer shifts and not as many people are needed to fill them. Sometimes, so few appointments are scheduled that several people have their shifts canceled or simply removed from the schedule. A lot of emails are sent asking why they can't see shifts or asking how they can get one in the future. It's great to see the number of people who want to get involved, but also disappointing to have to tell some people that they can't do something they signed up for, or wanted to help out with.

Much of my goals have to do with gaining experience which I'm able to do every time I log on to work with Desza or drive over to the PDX site. Each week I gain a new task to add to my list of responsibilities, each which help me to navigate Smartsheets, a program now often used at OHSU.

  1. Thanks for this. I was at the Convention Center last Saturday and it seemed empty. Is this a bad sign? What do you think?
